Blue Olive Villas is a detached holiday house in Agios Onoufrios on the Akrotiri peninsula. You rent the whole house: 200 m² of living space on a 1,600 m² plot, four bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and an infinity pool that nobody else uses.
The house sits on a hillside at the edge of a nature-protected gorge. From the terrace you look across the bay of Chania to the White Mountains. It is built from local stone, and the garden is planted with species native to the island.
120 m² of water to the edge
The infinity pool is 120 m² and heated to 26 °C on request. It has a swimming area and a shallow wet-spa zone where you can lie in the water. Right next to the pool, on a wooden deck, is a hot tub for up to six people. Beside it is the terrace with four sun loungers, two shaded double daybeds, the Napoleon grill and a table for ten.
Open kitchen with sea views
The dining table seats six. From the sofa you look through the wide glass front to the bay. The smart TV has Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV, and music plays through a SONOS system.
Every bedroom has a 180 × 200 cm box-spring bed, a balcony or terrace and its own bathroom.
Quiet on Akrotiri, 15 minutes from Chania
Agios Onoufrios is a small village on the Akrotiri peninsula, east of Chania. The sandy beach of Agios Onoufrios is about five minutes away by car. Chania Old Town with its Venetian harbour, Chania airport and the ferry port of Souda are each around 15 minutes by car.
